About me
KBT Consulting is an outcome-driven business - that means, no superfluous corporate jargon or buzzwords but rather being a trusted partner, who is deeply focused on helping you deliver your goals whether that be building out a go-to-market team and scaling revenue or delivering against your digital strategy goals.
My name is Deepesh Trivedi and KBT Consulting was founded by me in 2023. As an early employee at Meta (then Facebook), I have worked with hundreds of businesses ranging from the largest multinational corporations to fast growing start-ups across APAC and during my 15 year tenure at Meta, I was uniquely positioned to form an in-depth undrestanding of businesses that were successful and their recipes for success, as well as those that were not as effective in reaching their goals and the pitfalls that led to those results.
A bit about my personal experience and exposure
I helped build the Facebook advertising business across multiple markets around the world including the UK, Australia, Singapore, Japan and Southeast Asia. In 2018, I joined the WhatsApp organisation to help build out and monetise the WhatsApp business messaging portfolio across Asia Pacific.
Fun facts about me…
I’ve been playing guitar since I was 8 and I was in a band that played at the London Astoria 2. My wife and I adopted a rescue dog named Oishi who is now 13 years old. I love travelling and exploring new cultures and I am passionate about leveraging technology to help companies find solutions to grow their business.
THAT’S ME IN A NUT-SHELL
I’m a dad, husband, dog lover, musician, traveller and a tech enthusiast who enjoys solving business challenges.
My Back Story…
I grew up in a business environment - my parents owned a small business in Watford, UK. Having grown up in this environment, I have always valued the close relationships that my parents built with their customers while running their shop. My parents have been retired for over 10 years and still remain in touch with some of their customers and the impact of these relationships continue well beyond a purchase or a sale. This is something I have carried with me throughout my professional career whether it was managing an individual customer or a larger organisation. I believe in building a customer-first culture in everything I do.
I started my career in London and eventually moved to Singapore in 2011. Since then, my life has gone through immense transformation both professionally and personally. Most importantly, I got married, adopted our fur-baby, a senior golden retriever and became a father to a baby boy in 2023. As I completed 15 years at Meta, in what seemed like a meaningful coincidence, Meta announced a global restructuring which impacted my role, precisely two hours after my son came home from the hospital. I used this as an opportunity to spend some time with my family in my early days of being a dad and decided to start my own company.
We are currently based in Singapore, which is the hub for many cross-regional businesses looking to scale their company across the region. Since 2018, I have also provide mentorship through the non-profit Endeavour Indonesia, to support start-ups in Indonesia and I actively engage in volunteering activities.
